Ao Nang Tower
located halfway between Ao Nang and Tonsai beach, Ao Nang tower is the most beautiful multi-pitch in the area call "Orange Chandeliers" by Dean & Will Hair year 1994
but.....As for the new pitch on Ao Nang tower bolted in mid 2023 its good for views and pick but has a lot of lose and unstable rock and accessional rock get pulled out by climbers every time they go up leading to concerns as its not safe, because of this matter the boats now have been banned by the local government agendas from taking anyone to Ao Nang tower as there are concerns, so for now the only way to get there is to touch down at Tonsai or Rai Lay beach than get a boat from there straight to Ao Nang.
In evaluating our situation We think there is a very high chance that this place will be closed by the National Park Service in the near future.
And if it's true It must be bad because climbers have been climbing at Ao Nang Tower for over twenty years. But it had to end because of one unsafe climbing route.
